Bio to come
Trixie is an altruistic woman. From being in a profession to diagnose and treat mental illness to co-founding Battle Betties NFP, Inc., she is always looking for a way to do her part. She is even an elected official in her town where she volunteers her time to make her village a better place for all. Trixie’s grandfather was an army medic in WWII, so the military is very near and dear to her heart. Being a therapist that diagnoses and treats PTSD (among others), Trixie sees firsthand how much extra support the military and veterans need, so being a part of Battle Betties is one extra way to say “Thank you for everything you do and have done for us.”
LuLu has served her local community with consumer banking services and financing for over 20 years. She continues to support her community through various volunteer work through Anderson Animal Shelter, and now through her role as Treasurer at Battle Betties NFP, Inc. since early 2020.
LuLu is a 2nd generation American citizen born to parents of Italian descent. Her Parents and Grandparents came to America for a better life filled with freedoms and opportunities that remain unmatched throughout the world. She appreciates our U.S. way of life, recognizing the importance of equality, opportunity, and keeping our beautiful Nation safe. LuLu is honored to have the opportunity to continue to support our U.S. Veterans because they are truly our Nation’s heroes.
Alice is an educational administrator serving the families of Chicago’s Northwest Side and supporting the local communities through charitable action and partnerships across the state. She is the firstborn American in her family and a child of immigrants who taught her hard work, humility and charity will always be a need no matter what state of the world we are in. Her life will always be in tribute to her “Babcia” who fled a communist torn country and planted roots for her family to come. Because of her, pride in God, Country and self were instilled. This led Alice to contribute her time and talent to various community and charity organizations for nearly 30 years. From organizing food drives in her classroom as a 12-year-old for the local food pantry to co-founding the Battle Betties, NFP. Her purpose in life is to serve others in need for a better future and way of life.
